How Tempreon Uses Artificial Intelligence

Last updated: April 6, 2026 · Version 1.0

This document describes how Tempreon uses artificial intelligence, what data AI systems process, and your rights regarding AI-processed data. It is maintained independently of our Privacy Policy because AI capabilities evolve faster than general privacy practices, and we believe this topic deserves dedicated transparency.

What AI Does in Tempreon

Tempreon uses AI to build and maintain a personalized intelligence layer around you. Specifically, AI systems power:

  • Natural language processing — Understanding your queries, instructions, and conversational inputs across connected AI tools.
  • Knowledge synthesis — Organizing, connecting, and retrieving information from your Knowledge Vault based on relevance and context.
  • Behavioral pattern recognition — Observing how you interact with AI outputs (corrections, approvals, edits, preferences) and identifying recurring patterns. This is the Tempering system, and it runs in the background.
  • Active learning refinement — When you directly correct an Instinct, answer a Sharpening Question, or set a Focus Area, AI systems process this feedback. This is the Honing system.
  • Personalized context — Using your Core Imprint, Knowledge Vault, and learned Instincts to inform every AI interaction with context specific to how you think, communicate, and decide.
  • Automatic knowledge capture — Extracting domain knowledge, decisions, and context from your conversations so your Knowledge Vault grows without requiring you to manually store every insight.
  • Cross-domain synthesis — Identifying when patterns from one area of your work may apply to another, and surfacing those connections for your review.
  • Identity evolution — Proposing additions to your Core Imprint based on validated patterns the system has discovered. You control what gets accepted.

What Data AI Processes

Sent to AI inference providers:

  • Your queries and prompts during AI interactions
  • Knowledge Vault content relevant to the current interaction
  • Core Imprint sections relevant to the current task
  • Conversation history within a session

Processed within Tempreon infrastructure (not sent to AI providers):

  • Behavioral signals (how you interact with AI outputs)
  • Pattern detection and Instinct formation
  • Embedding generation for search and retrieval
  • Cross-domain synthesis analysis

Derived by AI systems:

  • Instincts (Style, Process, and Judgment patterns)
  • Vector embeddings (mathematical representations for search)
  • Confidence scores on learned patterns
  • Cross-context insights

What AI Does NOT Do With Your Data

  • No model training.Your data is never used to train AI models — ours or any third-party provider's. AI providers process your data only to fulfill your requests.
  • No cross-user learning. Your behavioral patterns, Instincts, and Core Imprint are isolated to your account.
  • No advertising. Your data is never used for ad targeting or behavioral advertising.
  • No selling. Your data is never sold, rented, or traded to any third party.
  • No autonomous decisions. Tempreon does not use AI to make decisions with legal or significant effects on you without your involvement.

AI Service Providers

AI inference is provided by third-party service providers who process data on our behalf. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data to train their general AI models. A current list of all sub-processors is maintained at tempreon.com/trust/sub-processors.

EU AI Act — Transparency Disclosure

Tempreon uses AI systems that analyze personal data to provide personalized recommendations and identify behavioral patterns. Under the EU AI Act, we maintain the following posture:

  • Tempreon is not classified as high-risk under Annex III (not used for employment, credit, law enforcement, etc.)
  • Human oversight is maintained — you control all interactions and decide how to use AI outputs
  • Transparency requirements are satisfied by this document and in-product visibility into your Core Imprint and Instincts

Vector Embeddings and Derived Data

Vector embeddings are mathematical representations of your content created to power search and recommendations. They are stored alongside your data, are not human-readable, and are never shared with other users. When you delete your data, all embeddings and derived representations are deleted too. Embeddings are not included in data exports because they are not usable outside Tempreon — all underlying source data is included.

Behavioral Learning System

Tempering (passive learning) runs in the background at three levels: Flash (same-session recognition), Sustained (multi-session deepening), and Core (cross-domain synthesis).

Honing (active learning) requires your participation: Corrections (fix any Instinct — available at all tiers), Sharpening Questions (targeted validation), and Focus Areas (direct system attention).

Both modes produce Instincts — learned behavioral patterns categorized as Style (communication/tone), Process (workflow/approach), or Judgment (decisions/trade-offs).

Your control: All Instincts are visible with supporting evidence. You can correct, delete, or reset your learning history at any time. You can also control which categories of learning are active — style, process, knowledge, people intelligence, and cross-domain synthesis can each be toggled independently. Deleting your account permanently and completely removes all learned patterns, knowledge, and derived data.

Enterprise Data Processing

For individual users, Tempreon acts as a data controller. For Enterprise deployments where an organization subscribes on behalf of its users, Tempreon acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA). Contact enterprise@tempreon.com to request a DPA.

Your Rights Regarding AI-Processed Data

  • Access: View your complete Core Imprint, all Instincts, and supporting evidence directly in the product
  • Correction: Fix any Instinct or Core Imprint data that is inaccurate
  • Deletion: Delete individual Instincts, reset learning history, or delete your entire account including all embeddings and derived data
  • Export: Download all human-readable data from Settings
  • Object: Contact legal@tempreon.com if you believe AI processing is producing inaccurate or harmful results

We respond to all data rights requests within 30 days.
