Personalized retrieval
What is personalized retrieval?
Personalized retrieval is search that ranks results by what matters to a specific person, not by general relevance alone. Standard retrieval answers which stored items best match a query. Personalized retrieval also weighs which of those a particular user would consider important — their projects, their people, their recent work. The difference shows up on ambiguous queries: a general system returns the most textually similar match, while a personalized one returns the one that is actually about your situation.
What this is called in Tempreon
Personalized search
Tempreon weights search results the way you would, so what matters to you gets found rather than merely what matches the words.
