Completing Onboarding

Walk through the Tempreon onboarding experience to build your initial Core Imprint.

The Onboarding Experience

When you first log in after creating your account, Tempreon walks you through a short onboarding flow. This is where your Core Imprint gets its initial content.

You have two options:

An AI assistant asks you a series of questions about how you think, work, and communicate. It's designed to feel like a natural conversation, not a form.

The conversation typically covers:

  1. What you do and what brought you to Tempreon
  2. How you communicate — your preferred tone, style, and level of detail
  3. How you make decisions — what factors you weigh, what your process looks like
  4. What you believe about your work and professional philosophy
  5. How you learn and process new information
  6. How you build trust and work with others
  7. What drives you — motivations, frustrations, and how you handle pressure

The whole conversation takes about 5-7 exchanges — roughly 2-3 minutes. Just answer naturally in your own words. There are no right or wrong answers.

Tip: The more specific you are, the better your Core Imprint will be. "I'm direct" is good. "I'm direct — I lead with the point, skip the preamble, and I get annoyed when AI gives me five paragraphs when one will do" is much better.

Option 2: Form-Based Onboarding

Click "Prefer to type? Use the form instead" to switch to a structured form with 8 text areas. Each one corresponds to a Core Imprint dimension:

  • What do you do?
  • How do you prefer to communicate?
  • How do you make decisions?
  • What do you believe about your work?
  • What matters to you?
  • How do you learn best?
  • What earns your trust?
  • What drives you?

All fields are optional — fill in what you can and skip what doesn't apply. You can always add more later from the Core Imprint page.

You can switch between the chat and form at any time during onboarding.

What Happens After You Finish

When the conversation ends (or you submit the form), Tempreon processes your responses and creates your Core Imprint sections. This takes a few seconds.

You're then redirected to your dashboard, where you can:

  • View your populated Core Imprint
  • See your Forge Journey status (starting at "Raw")
  • Follow the onboarding checklist for next steps (creating a Domain, connecting a Bridge)

Tips for a Strong Start

  1. Be specific, not generic. "I value efficiency" tells the AI very little. "I'd rather get a rough draft in 2 minutes than a polished one in 10" tells it a lot.
  2. Mention what you don't like. Your AI can avoid things you find annoying — filler phrases, excessive emoji, over-explaining basics you already know.
  3. Think about your professional context. Are you a strategist? An operator? A creative? The more your AI understands your role, the better its outputs.
  4. Don't overthink it. You can edit everything later. The onboarding is a starting point, not a permanent record.
