What Is the Forge Journey?
The Forge Journey is Tempreon's progression system — a visual representation of how well your AI knows you. It starts at "Raw" when you first sign up and advances through five stages as your intelligence layer matures.
The Five Stages

What Drives Progression
Your Forge Journey advances based on real metrics, not time alone:
- Instinct count — More validated Instincts means deeper behavioral understanding
- Instinct confidence — Higher confidence scores indicate patterns that are repeatedly confirmed
- Session depth — More sessions give the learning system more material to work with
- Cross-domain activity — Using Tempreon across multiple Domains shows breadth
Forge Score (Premium)
Premium subscribers get a Forge Score — a 0-100 numerical score with a per-category breakdown:
- Style — How well Tempreon knows your communication patterns
- Process — How well it understands your workflow habits
- Judgment — How well it models your decision-making
The Forge Score gives you a detailed picture of where your intelligence layer is strong and where there's room to grow.
How to Progress Faster
- Use your AI consistently. Regular sessions give the learning system steady data.
- Work across Domains. Cross-domain patterns are the richest signals.
- Give feedback. When your AI gets something right or wrong, say so. Corrections are the most valuable learning signal.
- Answer Sharpening Questions. These are questions the system asks to resolve ambiguity. Each answer sharpens your Instincts. (Available on Standard and Premium tiers.)
- Be specific. "Make it shorter" teaches less than "Cut the intro paragraph and lead with the data."
Tier Progression Limits
Different tiers support different levels of Forge development:
- Free — Can reach Warming. Limited learning frequency.
- Standard — Can reach Tempered. Daily learning cycles.
- Premium — Can reach Forged. Continuous learning with full Tempering and Honing.
Higher tiers aren't just feature unlocks — they increase the depth and frequency of the learning system, accelerating your Forge Journey.
Use Case: Watching the Journey Unfold
Tom is a management consultant who signed up on the Standard tier. In his first week, he used Tempreon daily with Claude Desktop for client communications. By day 5, his dashboard showed "Warming" and 8 detected Instincts — things like "prefers structured recommendations over open-ended options" and "leads with executive summary before details."
